Payment sent

I've paid for a item and it shows in purchasing but the seller still tells me item hasn't been paid for.
I've opened a request and that is telling me to resolve the problem I need to pay?
In my purchase folder it says paid but not sent

Have you bought from a new seller?  They are perhaps not aware that Paypal hold their monies for 21 days before release.  Ask them to check their Paypal transaction,  if they see the instruction OK to post / send / print postage label,  they must post the item to you.

Or,  it may tell them there,  to claim the payment.

He tells me he's checked his PayPal and it's not showing any funds. I've sent him pics of my purchase showing it saying paid. He's telling me to contact eBay and resolve it with them. There's a action going but I don't really understand.
He is a good seller and not new to eBay.
What should I do?
