Hi I hope you can help I want to purchase a sofa suit from a seller on eBay but they want me to send payment via PayPal before collecting am I covered if say the buyer didn't let me collect the item after I've payed kind regards zara
There is no advantage or buyer/seller protection with PayPal payment for collected items ... the seller may not know this and will have PP fees to pay. Cash is best on inspection/collection of the suite ... you can always walk away if the item is not as described. Work with the seller and ask if cash will be acceptable.
Collected items are not covered by buyer protection but if you use your credit card with Paypal you may have protection via your card depending on value. Best to check to with card provider.
