I am trying to use the code on goods from a listed seller with but I keep getting an error message and it won't let me use it

I can confirm the coupon has now been reactivated however guest checkout is still disabled.

Members need to be signed in to redeem the coupon.

Guests users who do not have an account will need to register.

There seem to be a few reports on this

Have you read the Terms and conditions of the promotion carefully to make sure the item you are buying is eligable for the offer

and that the dates of the offer  are correct ?

There is usually a reason why it wont take it

If you are sure then contact ebay by going to Help and contact then put nearest to the problem in the search box or go to the bottom of the page for phone or contact

They open at 8 am weekdays

I doubt they will take any action but worth a try
