Overseas buyers

I have recently had a couple of people offering to buy some items. They ask for me to either email or WhatsApp them. I have checked them out and they are in Singapore and have zero feedback. I have then declined their offer and left a note saying I only contact through eBay and also that I don’t post outside the uk. Is this a new scam? I have the latest ones details in case anything comes back to haunt me. Any help is appreciated, Kate.

you are correct in insisting that contact be made through eBay.

Once you start making contact outside eBay you never know what's what.

Put these buyers on your blocked list.

PUt them on your blocked bidders list

You can also set your buyer requirements to stop bidders from countries you dont ship to.

That will stop them bidding

If they buy and you only have uk postage then they would not be able to pay and you open a non payment dispute

I hope you dont mind me saying so but those expensive boots must go next day delivery and with the correct amounf of compesation
