If the cost of p&p is £3.20. How is the seller allowed to charge me double when the cost of the package was only £1.53. This is dishonest and over charging should not be allowed like this how do I get a refund
the cost of Postage &Packaging isn't £1.53
the cost of the stamp ( the Postage) is £1.53
the rest is the Packaging costs
the seller quotes a price to get the item safely delivered to your door,
there is nothing 'dishonest' the price is clearly shown
you agreed that price when you purchased the item
you weren't overcharged
and you can't get a refund
The feedback you have left for this seller is shameful.
You acknowledge that she washed and ironed this dress, and I bet she packed it carefully too.
When you start to sell on eBay yourself you will find that packing takes time and the materials are not free. That's why the p&p cost covers the cost of postage and packing. Surely you wouldn't quibble over a charge say £1.00 for packing a dress properly?
This would take the p&p cost to £2.53, to which you have to add eBay's fees of about 13% on the total. This takes the least you could have expected to pay to £2.86. £3.20 is not out of order at all if it was well packed.
With respect, you obviously haven't thought about anything except the price of stamps before leaving this very unfair feedback and comments. Didn't the fact that every other buyer has left this seller positive feedback since they joined ten years ago make you realise that you were out of step somewhere?
The good news is that you can still ask them to send you a feedback revision request to change it.
