Non paying buyer repeat offender

Hi All,

I have had the misfortune to sell an item to a non buyer, which no doubt, we all encounter from time to time. After a few days I sent a gentle reminder email but no response. Having checked his feedback I see that 18 of his last 25 transactions he has not paid for and not communicated. How can we remove this person from ebay? The problem is that as sellers we cannot leave negative feedback, so to vent their frustration sellers whose items he/she has not paid for have made the mistake of leaving positive feedback just so they can comment negatively?

If the sellers had followed the correct procedure and opened a non-payment case each time then this buyer would have been removed already. When you open an unpaid item dispute then no one can leave feedback and some sellers prefer to vent their feelings rather than get the buyer removed.

As you've noticed, no one reads the feedback until they already have the problem so it has no effect whatsoever and the buyer continues to be a nuisance to other sellers - and gain lots of feedback points.

It's difficult to understand why some sellers are so stupid. And I hope you've given this buyer a strike by opening a dispute.

And blocked them from bidding!
