This is rubbish taking 4 working days and just got charged £40 on sale at £310  Ebay charges are becoming exorbitant and the contact us regime is just designed to make you find it immpossible... Facebook Marketplace is free

12.8% + 30p that works out about right

!2.8% of £310 is £39.68 + 30p

Ebay charges on the managed payments are slightly cheaper than previously with ebay and paypal fees together.

You should have known the fees before you listed

You are under  , as all sellers will be this year,  eBay's Managed Payment System.

Whilst you are correct that payouts are not as immediately available,  you are incorrect that fees are higher,  they are in fact lower for you as a Private Seller.

Don't forget before you were paying 2.9% plus 30p to Paypal then 10% to eBay a total of 12.9% plus 30p

Now,  no Paypal fees,  and a total of 12.8% plus 30p.  OK not massively less,  but still less,  and not more,  which it could quite easily have been.

"charges are becoming exorbitant "  You mean you can't work out that they are slightly lower, or didn't you ever work out that Paypal made a charge that is no longer payable.

Instead of moaning about mythical increases in fees, I opted for weekly payments, so every Tuesday I receive all money paid right up to the Sunday.

Unless you instantly withdrew every penny received in your Paypal Account does it really matter where the money is, the main point is that you have been paid.
