New football shirts are banned from Ebay

I have just had my listing removed for a 3rd time which was for a brand new genuine football shirt, after the first removal i contacted ebay and was advised to send in a copy of the purchase invoice which i duly did and they accepted, i was told today that they are not allowed to accept invoices and that there is absolutely no way to prove if an item is genuine so when i actually asked are ebay banning the sale of items such as clothing, shirts, shoes, basically anything that could be counterfeit i was advised yes if items are reported whether guilty or not they will be removed and not be permitted to be put back on and you are not allowed to prove in anyway they are genuine. surely ethically and morally, this is wrong, to punish everyone and you are not allowed to contest it, be interesting to hear any thoughts on this from other members

As to fairness you are right. Others do seem to "get away" with it.  There is nothing you can do I'm afraid.  Football shirts are a minefield I believe in that there are authorised "replicas".   Discuss the difference between replica and fake?
