I believe that sellers should leave feedback as soon as the item has shipped. The new feedback setup does not in my opinion encourage me as a seller to leave enay feedback, the reason being that where previously all I had to do was type a letter in the box and I got a selection of my past feedback from which to pick. Now I have to concoct something each time I want to post. Furthermore the wording that ebay is using almost suggests that we are being asked to comment for ebay rather than for the buyer, ("leave a comment").
Why change a perfectly good system ?

I believe that sellers should leave feedback as soon as the item has shipped.
Why?
Feedback isn't just to say that the buyer has paid. The transaction isn't over until the buyer has received their item and is satisfied with it.
Perhaps you've never had the experience of leaving feedback as soon as the item is shipped, only to find that you have a buyer from hell, who changes their mind, demands a discount, returns an item that they've damaged themselves or is just plain rude and bullying.
