I have heard that Ebay did credit points incorrectly, but if so why do you think it is right for you to spend them?
2500 points is rather a lot to not realise there was something wrong.
Ebay may have made a mistake, BUT so did you in spending what did not belong to you.
You are not paying anything off to eBay.....you are paying it to Nectar
Nectar is a loyalty scheme.....nothing to do with eBay....it was introduced by Sainsbury......just as each time you buy goods & use your nectar card in store.....the points collected will go off your balancve with Nectar
All yoiu can do if you want to stop your eBay earned points going to Nectar is to unlink your Nectar card & possibly look toi a different loyalty/discount scheme like Topcashback.....which actually offers more value than Nectar
Well you've called the Nectar helpline they are blaming eBay, so now call eBay , see if they can shed further light on this.
Go top of the page and from the Help & Contact tab above, type into bar there, Nectar Points query, and follow prompts to Call Us.
