Negative feedback

The earrings I bought were advertised as silver and the stone as sapphires. One earring snapped within a few weeks. My local reputable jewellers informed me they Weren't silver and the stones were Not sapphires, Not even CZ. I subsequently binned them so sadly I can't return them. They cost £8.99. I REALLY REALLY LIKED them too!
The seller is lovering2011. I'm not expecting new ones back since I'm unable to return the goods. What will happen now?
I tried leaving feedback, After I contacted the seller, but somehow my Tablet acted up whilst I was typing it out so I gave up and am now using the mobile phone I have. I Do feel defrauded and told him/her this. I'm a pensioner, I can't Afford another pair. I feel like **bleep**.

Oh dear ....

If you cannot return the items then you will not get a refund . Its just like shopping at M&S .....the goods have to be returned or the store will not refund .

The problem is that if you buy items from China it is very costly to return the item with tracking if the item subsequently turns out to be SNAD .

Realistically the earrings were never going to be genuine sapphires set in sterling silver for £8.99 ....its is often best to avoid Chinese sellers whose items seem to be too good to be true ....they are never going to be the real thing .

Nothing you can do other than use it as a learning experience ...
