IS IT ONLY ME OR DO OTHERS FEEL THAT BUYERS WHO THEN DECIDE NOT TO PAY GET OFF PRETTY EASY
WHY ARE WE NOT ALLOWED TO LEAVE APPROPRIATE FEEDBACK FOR THESE PEOPLE .
AS A SELLER IT IDS OUR FEES THAT KEEP EBAY AFLOAT NOT THE BUYERS YET IF YOU REOPORT ONE THEN EBAY DOES NOT TELL YOU THE OUTCOME IT DOESNT MATTER THAT YOU HAVE HAD YOUR TIOME AND MONEY WASTED .
IT ABOUT TIME EBAY GREWA PAIR AND SORTED THIS OUT AS MORE AND MORE PEOPLE ARE GOING OVER TO GUMTREE AND TO BE HONEST I MIGHT SOON FOLLOW
I HAVE HAD A NUMBER OF ITEMS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN PAID FOR WHICH I THEN HAVE TO RELIST AND REPACKAGE *** HAS TO BE ONE OF THE WORST BUT OTHERS ARE JUST AS BAD .
MAKE SUERE IF THIS PERSON BIDS ON ANYTHING BELONGING TO YOU UNLESS THE POSTAGE IS FREE FORGET ABOUT BEING PAID
,br> You can set your preferences to block buyers with 2 or more Unpaid Strikes in a year. If everyone did things the correct way, Non Payers would have very little to bid on. I don't call that getting off easy.
The reason this keep happening is because some sellers prefer to abuse the feedback system by leaving false positives rather than dealing with things professionally. Quite why they do this and endanger their accounts is a mystery to me; all they have to do is open an unpaid dispute and if the buyer doesn't pay then close the dispute on day 5 and give them a strike. 2+ strikes in 12 months wwill stop an habitual non-payer in their tracks.
When a buyer reports a false positive, eBay remove it and give the seller a policy violation on their account. One violation gets an 'advisory, the second is likely to earn a seller a short selling 'holiday' and no seller wants a third.
The reason that sellers can no longer leave neg and neutral f/b for buyers is that too many were abusing the system in the first place, leaving retaliatory, intimidatory and abusive feedback for buyers - eBay put a stop to it 7-8 years ago. It is sad to see that nothing has changed.
I tend to agree but ebay needs to attract buyers because they have other online places to buy, whereas small or private sellers only have ebay.
Be sure to do an Unpaid Item case to get your selling fee back from ebay:
