As the title suggests my former landladies account has been restricted.
All she was selling was baby cloths and bits and bobs. She has had her account since 2012.
While I was living there I ran my account, but have now left to a new address which was updated on ebay. At the new address my account was restricted.
Despire writing and speaking to ebay , we have both tried, her account is still restricted despite her not doing anything
wrong.
Is there anything I can do, to help her?
She has emailed and spoken to ebay via the chat option and on the phone to trust and saftey but to no avail and they keep telling her to get your friends account (me) back up and running, despite eBay telling me my account has been indefinatly suspended.
Any advice?
Thanks
As I said "sharing an address" is enough. If one person in household is banned then when ebay gets round to it they may ban all the others. We have never heard of such a restriction being lifted!
If your account was indefinitely restricted hers will probably be as well as you shared a household. It is very difficult to solve involving a new account, a new computer, a house move and new ID.
Her sellling provillages were taken away. The only reason given was that there were strong links to my restrcited account. Other then sharing an address, there is nothing else connecting us. Moreover there is another person living at that address whos account is still working fine. Is there anything she can do? She has had the account since 2012 and only used it to buy baby clothes and sell some old ones.
why was she restricted and what type of restriction was it?
Your account will also be restricted.
