Missing items from purchase that arrived today.

Hi all

Received a purchase earlier, 2 items that were in the photos and in the description are missing.  I contacted the seller, they advised that they have them and will send them out at their cost.  Then, did a complete 360 and say they're not going to, and if I have an issue to send the whole lot back and get a refund.  To add to this, they've said that if I don't send their item back "they have my billing address and will send the police as it's fraud"!!

Is there anything request wise Ebay can do, such as "item received not as described case"?  All i can see at the minute is to request a refund and send it all back, which I don't want to do as the rest is fine, I just want what they have admitted they've got, but are now refusing to send out.

thanks

I take your point 100% but the only way really with this silly seller is to open the case, return and get a refund.  Then buy another complete one!

There is no way to get the selelr to send the extra bits.  There is no way [or no point] to report him to ebay.

I suppose what the seller is saying about "fraud" is that he sent it complete and you have taken out the "missing bits" [perhaps to complete a similar item that you have  ...  I know I know].

If you do open the acse to return I suspect that the seller will not send the label.  You then escalate the case to eBay who will probaly tell you to keep the bits and also refund you!

This will add fuel to the fire won't it!

I wish I could see some better solution but as I say no return = no refund = no missing parts.

Perhaps someone else will be along who can add to my thoughts.  Please let us know the ultimate outcome and do not run out of time.  You have 30 days only with eBay though up to 180 with Paypal.
