Managed payments for private sellers

What are peoples thoughts on this and are any of you leaving Ebay because of it. 
I'm in 2 minds as I liked having PayPal as a separate savings account if you like and it's handy to have the money on there for my own online purchases.

i'm not a business, I am selling many of late mother's collectibles or attempting to to help my father, I don't sell much reguarly even though the listings are there. 

I'm not happy being threatened with the restrictions if I don't accept it.

so really I'm not sure what to do.

I appreciate for business sellers that this has been welcomed by many but why is this being forced on Private Sellers.

It is ebay's site and they make the rules. It is very simple really, unless you provide the information required for managed Payments, you will not be able to sell.

You can still use paypal for making payments, and it would be extremely easy to have money from sales transferred to bank and then you transfer to paypal.

Yes there is some nice bits and many have been listed for such a long time. I don’t have regular sales daily. The sales are very few and far between except the last couple of weeks I may have sold 2-3 items. I really don’t like the idea of managed payments at all after reading lots of others concerns.
