Managed payments for private sellers

What are peoples thoughts on this and are any of you leaving Ebay because of it.
I'm in 2 minds as I liked having PayPal as a separate savings account if you like and it's handy to have the money on there for my own online purchases.

i'm not a business, I am selling many of late mother's collectibles or attempting to to help my father, I don't sell much reguarly even though the listings are there.

I'm not happy being threatened with the restrictions if I don't accept it.

so really I'm not sure what to do.

I appreciate for business sellers that this has been welcomed by many but why is this being forced on Private Sellers.

It is ebay's site and they make the rules. It is very simple really, unless you provide the information required for managed Payments, you will not be able to sell.

You can still use paypal for making payments, and it would be extremely easy to have money from sales transferred to bank and then you transfer to paypal.

You have some lovely items for sale,  and have been selling very well,  nearly an item daily.

With just under a 100 items listed surely it would be a shame to just stop because the payment method has changed.

Once Managed payments settle in I'm sure the delay in receiving payouts will lessen .  If you wish money to be in your Paypal account for other purchases,  just add the money from payouts received in your bank account and put it into Paypal
