A winning bidder has not paid and although I know that I can relist, I noted that several people have managed to leave feedback against this person stating "avoid, doesn't pay". How did they manage to leave feedback when the sale didn't happen. I also noted that the feedback was in the positive section (which is a pity), even though the comments left were negative.
Don't even think of leaving bad feedback for buyers, for any reason.
EBay only allows selelrs to leave positive feedback and comments. If you can't do that, don't leave any. The buyer can have it removed and it would be you who receives a defect for feedback policy violation.
Just use eBay's new procedure to cancel unpaid items: https://community.ebay.co.uk/t5/Announcements/New-cancel-function-for-unpaid-items/ba-p/6939127 The buyer will receive a non-payment strike; two strikes would mean that most sellers would automatically block them from bidding.
