Late delivery rate report

Hi eBay Community

I have lost my Top Seller status due to some (6) late delivery reports. That would be ok if it was true!!!

During the past year I have 6 incidents where buyers according to the statistics have reported a late delivery.

I have communicated with all 6 buyers and none of them have reported anything.

They have even left positive feedback mentioning the fast delivery!!!

Also all the packets were dispatched the same day payment cleared and tracking numbers were uploaded,

which is confirmed on both eBay and PayPal. I can also see that all packets were delivered within a very reasonable

timeframe.

My question is: What is the reason for these false late delivery reports and how do I avoid them in the future?

I have found if you upload tracking when marking as despatched, ebay system only shows when item was actually delivered not when 1st attempt was made & buyer re-arranged delivery, buyers are not marking late delivery.

Now I don't upload tracking when despatched.
