Knowingly inaccurate item description/title

I've come across an item where the item description/title does NOT match the actual product. I informed the seller. Nothing has changed. Ebay's 'report item' process doesn't appear appropriate. What to do now? Give up cos I for sure won't be bidding - though eight others have... Persevere to ensure accuracy though not directly concerned - how?
Thanks for your inputs.

It's unlikely that eBay will be interested. You can try using the "report" option in every listing, but eBay doesn't necessarily take action on reports by ordinary members. If it was brand name misuse and your name was Gucci or Nike it would be different!

EBay's policy is that the seller is entirely responsible for the accuracy of the item description, and the buyer can use eBay's money back guarantee if the item isn't as described.

Just forget it, and move on. All buyers need to be alert to dodgy listings and assorted scams on eBay. If they don't realise this is they shouldn't be here.
