Items sent tracked / signed not being processed correctly by Royal Mail

i have just checked my last 100 orders sent through the Royal Mail using tracked and signed services both in the uk and internationally. I was concerned about the increased number of claims for missing items i was receiving especially in the uk.

Off 100 items only about 30% have been tracked and signed - i do know that a lot of these items have been delivered as buyers have left feedback even though the tracking shows otherwise. i worry that dishonest people are abusing the system and the postal services dont seem to care!!

its costing me a fortune and i might have to close down again until all this is over. 

just wondered if anyone else had noticed this and any ideas - ( alternative uk delivery companies ) thanks

I noticed the same with RM.

If you have to refund buyers, then claim from RM.
