Item not delivered

How long does a buyer have to claim none delivery, we know not all couriers update tracking as we are often left feedback while tracking says still in transit.. however if a customer sees that also and decides to try get refund for no delivery , is there a cut off when no delivery is deemed as suspicious ??

Is there a cut off? Yes of 30 days, BUT paypal allow 180 days, and unless tracking shows as delivered then you end up refunding.

There is a problem with adding tracking to ebay, if the tracking shows a Late Delivery you get a "late delivery" on you record. Very unfair and I don't think ebay have relaxed the rules to allow for the current delays in mail.

Buyers can Open an Item Not Received Case one day after the last Estimated Delivery Date. However being as it is Xmas, their are Postal delays.

Best to always add Tracking to Dispatch then EBay can see that the Item is in Transit.

Hi..sorry what i meant was.. can someone come back 6 weeks later and claim
not recieved because the courier had inadvertently not updated the delivery
tracking
