Item delivered to pick up point but pick up point says no item

Hi

Just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation, an item I sent with signed for was marked as delivered in the Royal Mail tracking system. the item was delivered to a store where ebay items can be picked up from. The buyer visited the store and was told they do not do signed parcels, even after the buyer showed the proof that it had been signed for. The buyer visited the local post office depot and they confirmed the item was delivered to the store.

Any advice on how to resolve this situation?

Did you put the "ecp"number in the address when you sent the item?

Without this the store would be unable to link it for eBay to issue the collection FMcode
