Hi
Just wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation, an item I sent with signed for was marked as delivered in the Royal Mail tracking system. the item was delivered to a store where ebay items can be picked up from. The buyer visited the store and was told they do not do signed parcels, even after the buyer showed the proof that it had been signed for. The buyer visited the local post office depot and they confirmed the item was delivered to the store.
Any advice on how to resolve this situation?
Thank you all for reading.
Make sure the tracking is on the item in your sold section
you should always do that straight away as soon as you post it.
If it says Delivered then you will win any dispute.
Did the buyer get the code from ebay to collect the item?.
It would be no point in going without it
If they did not then they should contact ebay and ask for it
If they did and the shop say they do not have it then the buyer should contact ebay and tell them.
Hi
I did not include the tracking number within ebay but in the Proof of delivery which I took a screenshot it showed the 1st line of the address for the store.
The buyer said no code was generated for picking up the item, im guessing that might be linked to the tracking number i did not include in the item.
I will speak to the buyer to see if a code can be generated.
Thank you
