Can anyone tell me how to proceed with this.
I bought a china teapot set and when the parcel arrived the set had smashed completely. I messaged the seller twice (the second message had photos of the set attached). No response so I opened a case with ebay and immediately they got in touch. Ebay have given the seller until next week to resolve. I am happy to return the damaged set to the seller but now there is silence again.
Do I need to wait until the end of next week to have ebay look into it and resolve it.
Yes, the option to escalate a case only appears 8 days after you started it. Once that's done if the seller is in the UK ebay will require them to issue a return postage label for you to use. And after it's been returned ebay will enforce the refund.
