The seller has not send out the item I ordered after 2 days and asked me for extra postage due to miscalculation? What would you do?

Nothing....the seller cannot do that.....
A long as you have paid the original price then if not received by the date specified you open a not received case.....you can then escalate for eBay to step in after 8 more days
