International postage not charged

Hi, I sold an item, I'd listed free domestic postage, £5 to post internationally. I'm in the UK. The item was bought by someone in Germany but they were able to check out with free postage - any ideas why? I've been back and checked and the international postage is still on the original listing (I have more than 1 off the item available). Thanks

Perhaps they want it sent to a UK address? Otherwise,  no idea how it happened.
