Insertion fees

I have never checked my eBay fees in the 10+ years I've been doing this which is unlike me as I reconcile just about everything. I haven't got time to go back on old stuff but I have noticed lots of 35p insertion fees on the latest invoice. I am wondering if it's for the following reason.

I've been using the "good til cancelled" on all my "buy-it-now" listings. I currently have about 50 listings. Initially that 50 was built up gradually and I relisted some that didn't sell manually. Now of course they relist automatically because of "good til cancelled". That means that, with 50 listings, I am 30 over the 20 limit of free listings each month. Hopefully this is the answer as it's not been running too long.

Every time I list something new it says "Free" but of course I don't see the fees for the auto relisted ones. This is a bit misleading as "good til cancelled" is not really an accurate description if it's really "buy it now" for 30 days and then auto relisted.

Please can someone clarify that this makes sense.

auto relists and good til cancelled listings count towards your totals,

if you have used all your free allowance when they relist you will be charged insertion fees for them.
