Inappropriate messages

Hi,  I have just received my second inappropriate message. I listed a suspender belt and shortly after received a message asking if I had any knickers for sale. It started with “Hi, this is Steve”

Do I just bin it or is there a way to block the person? I’d rather not be receiving any more.

Don't answer it, just ignore and delete,   and yes you can block them from buying  from your,  and messaging you.

Go to Account tab  >>  Site Preferences >>  Buyer Requirements >>  Block Buyers who ....   and further down that page is a little box to tick to stop unwanted messages.

Do this on a laptop / PC / browser,  not using IE,  and not the useless ebay app.

I'd be inclined to reply with ''Hi this is Mark, the mar half of annmar, I run the eBay account. Thanks for your interest but no, I don't.'' 

Sometimes these people get their kicks out of thinking they're making you scared or angry, taking control of the situation with a simple white lie normally neutralises it. You should of course still report it to eBay, but I'd be doing that via the phone as any report forms will be ignored.
