How to remove the 'tick' on Stay Logged In when signing on

Can anyone tell me how to adjust of change my Sign In screen so that the 'Stay Logged In' box is not ticked ?

When I use my normal everyday laptop, that box is always ticked, BUT....if I sign in on my mobile, or my tablet

or indeed on ANY other PC (suchas at any of my friends) the box is unticked !

I've tried various searches and all manner of things to try to find any info/help on ebay's Help pages, but so

far nothing...and I'm really starting to get annoyed with this irritating 'feature'.

To my mind it should by default be unticked, so that you then select it if you wish to stay logged in.

It is generally a browser setting

Log out on that device, clear cookies & cache & possibly change the settings on your browser not to retain login info (Privacy & security)

When you next log in the box should not be checked

It's not Browser related...mine auto clears the cache and cookies...
The answer I found by clikcing on the 'text' after the 'tick box'...

In 'my ebay' click on the Account tab, then at the next screen, on the left side click on 'Site preferences', and then scroll to the bottom...and in 'Other general preferences' check that the 'Keep me signed in' box is not ticked. To confirm and save that setting, click on Apply. I'm now a happy bunny as it works 🙂
