How to get the case reopened

Hi ,

I purchased a grinder and unfortunately it stopped working after 3 months . The product was guaranteed for 2 years . So requested the seller to solve the issue . He kept lingering on for a month and finally the eBay closed the case , any advice how to reopen the case or get the justice done ?
Regards

EBay provides a 30 day money back guarantee for most items sold here, but after that they will have no further interest. PayPal buyer protection lasts for 180 days, but only covers faults present on delivery. Neither will get involved in warranties or faults that occur in use.

Any responsibility now rests with the seller. If they're a UK business seller you may have some statutory consumer rights, but enforcing them for items bought on eBay can be difficult or impossible. Even manufacturers' warranties are liable to be invalid for items bought here.

You can consult trading standards or citizens advice, or consider using the small claims court or the Courts and Tribunals internet-based money claim service: https://www.moneyclaim.gov.uk/web/mcol/welcome. If the seller is abroad, there's unlikely to be anything you can do.

Uncertain after-sales service and warranties that may prove valueless are part of the risks of buying from unknown sellers here. EBay is not like the shops.
