I have someone who is following me on ebay and I don't want him to be able to see what I am selling and would like to block him but there doesn't appear to be a way of doing this. Surely this is against data privacy laws or something?
Is there any way to block a user from seeing what you have bought/sold (in your feedback) and remove them as a follower? I have searched and searched and can't find any answer and no way to contact ebay unless it's about a specific purchase/sale/item.
No one can see what you have bought in your feedback profile, that information is only available to you. There is a long way round to do this, but it is not obvious and not many will know it.
You cannot block a follower, and you cannot block anyone from viewing your items for sale, but you can block them buying from you and messaging you.
For this go to your Account tab >> Site Preferences >> Buyer Requirements >> Block Buyers who. Then scroll down to bottom of that page, there is a little box to tick to stop unwanted messages from that user.
