How do I report faulty item to E Bay?

In February I bought a 3 tier click and lock shower caddy. After a short while it fell off the wall, I put it back up with less item on it, but once again after a short while it fell off again, I kept repeating this for quite some time. In the end I contacted the seller and they say it is a manufacturers flaw and because I have had it more than 30 days they don't want to know. Surely this comes under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 and should be fit for purpose? I would also like to change my feedback on this item.

Ebay do not involve themselves in matters of guarantees of workmanship on items sold.  When you contacted the buyer did they reply? Did you buy from a business registered seller?  You need to contact them again. If it was a new item did it have any guarantee leaflet you can deal direct with the manufacturer?

 

If  you  have left good feedback, this cannot now be changed to 'bad'.
