How do I post a chair ?

Can anyone help with how to post and package an occasional chair ? Thanks, Ruth

The difficulty is that you will have to pack the item incredibly well and it simply cannot go by "post". You would need one of the more expensive high end couriers. 

If it is listed as collection that is wise; stick to that. If the buyer cannot/will not collect then you may have to cancel [if paid] or open a non-payer case if not.

What is an occasional chair the rest of the time?

You have listed them as collection only, I would stick to that.

You can advise your buyer to get a quote from a Shipley courier.... but keep the listing as Collect Only.

You'll need to search for couriers that accept the size & weight of it.
