Goods tampered with...Global Shipping Programme

Sent 50 Pine Cones out via GSP Lichfield... only 11 cones arrived to buyer in AU  in A very small bag...What goes on there... I sent them in a strong Clarke’s Shoe Box!!  Would love some answers.   Had to resend to buyer with fingers crossed...but how do I recover my costs ...paying a second postage and another 50 cones....?   any answers out there please... be most grateful....Craftbarn100

I'm surprised that the whole lot wasn't seized and destroyed by Oz customs.

 

Australia has some of the strictest import controls in the world to prevent the introduction of plant or animal diseases.

Australia have very very strict laws on importing vegetable material, maybe the GSP people did some sorting for clean ones?  I wouldn't have sent any more.

You probably should have tried to sort this out with ebay straight away

 

It is kown that Pitney Bowes sometimes repacks items

The buyer should have opened a not as described dispute although with that ebay may have gone with the buyer

All you can do is to contact ebay and see what they do
