I had some of my listings as GTC as I assumed that when they were auto-relisted they would just use the 100 free listings a day. I now see that in fact I've been charged insertion fees for these. Why is that?

I believe if you had ended the listings & then manually relisted them adding GTC or Auto Relist then they would have qualified for the offer....but that first listing must be made after the offer started....items listed in previous months with auto relist or GTC would not have qualified....

The T&C of the offer do actually say this

GTC listings are not included in the extra 100 free listings,

they come out of your 20 free a month,

once you have used your 20 all gtc relists incur a fee.

Confirms what I thought, a sneaky way to charge for "FREE" listings, although I don't think these listings would have been under the terms of the "new" Promotional Offer some people had on the 1st July. Not sure what happens with these.
