I listed items under a £1 selling fee offer. I’m now being charged £170. Ebay deliberately make it almost impossible to see a full breakdown of the invoice. I am on holiday in Spain but apparently I can call them if I’m prepared to wait 69 minutes on the phone. Personally I think their customer service is an absolute disgrace. I’ve no doubt they will find some get out for charging me in the small print - but the bottom line is I responded to an offer in good faith. I’m not surprised some users try and cheat ebay out of fees given their behaviour.
