Free listings for private sellers

Is it correct that you only get your listings  free ( have 1000) if you list something for 7 days or more. Trying to list something for 3 days and it comes up with 35p insertion fee. Did a Live Chat and they said free only on 7 days or more. Cant say I have ever seen this before.

yes it is true

when ebay introduced the 1000 free listings for private sellers they stated the listings have to be for 5 days or more to qualify,

1 and 3 day listings have to be paid for.

Although I have never listed for less than 10 days I believe that is so.  I don't think it's a "change"
