I called eBay customer support and he walked me through the process to buy with eBay cards- do they actually do this or did I call a number and basically set myself up for fraud?

Not sure what the ebay cards are but someone else may know

Did you put in any of your banking details

If you did then it probably was a fraud and you would need to contact your bank urgently

Where did you get the cards.

Did you phone CS through the ebay site on here?

Got them from HEB, eBay gift cards. Customer service person gave me call back ext and all. And walked me through it. This wasn’t even a person that sold me the item

You need to sign out of ebay.co.uk as this is the UK site. Then sign back into ebay making sure you sign into ebay.com for the US
