Just a little query that I am having no luck in finding clarification for via the help function.
Could anybody advise me, in regards to final value fees, is it best to list with or without postage (free P&P) please?
I have noticed that I am billed seperately for the postage when an item sells with a P&P charge, whereas free postage is just the one fee.
For example if I sell something for £10 with a £2.99 P&P, I get billed £1 & 30p (quick math, unsure of true figures) but if I sell for £12.99 free P&P, I just get billed £1.30.
This may seem a little trivial but as the promo for the £1 max final value fee, the above makes 30p difference - not a huge whoop whoop but still, times that by 10, 50, 100. It can make a huge difference.
Maybe I am looking at the billing incorrectly too. Does P&P (when it is part of a sale and not free) get final valued seperately to the main sale price and the billing is just showing me a breakdown of payments?
Please can someone shed some light just so I can get my head around the figures? I would really appreciate it and thank you for hopefully understanding my query.
It makes no difference to the fees you pay.....the max £1 promo incliudes the item price & P&P....so you sell for £30 with £5 P&P you pay £1.....you sell for £35 inc P&P you still pay £1
The only good thing about free P&P is that you get 5* rathings for P&P in feedback
