i returned an item to a seller who claims to have not received it. No tracking is available. The seller is not issueing a refund and has opened a case. eBay has found in his favour and closed the case. No refund is forthcoming. I also don't appear able to leave feedback for the seller. How is this possible?
When you return items then you have to do it through the resolution centre
You have to have tracking to prove it was Delivered or ATtempted delivery to the seller
No trackin and you lose any dispute. There is nothing you can do
Sellers cannot "open a case".
You should have opened a "not as described case" and seller would have sent a label with tracking. Did you do that or have you simply returned it by some d-i-y method.
If tracking to him is not available I very very much doubt you will get anywhere and - if you do not use the eBay system - they will not be interested
