I am struggling to get feedback from buyers. As a seller, I always give feedback for my buyers..BUT..only after they have left theirs. Why? Because the feedback system is flawed in favour of buyers. ALL buyers have POSITIVE feedback, as E. Bay will not permit sellers to leave NEGATIVE or NEUTRAL feedback for buyers. Therefore it is meaningless, as how can we identify bad buyers to avoid? Yet the buyer can leave neutral or negative feedback and probably tarnish a seller's reputation unfairly. E. Bay used to allow seller's to give NEUTRAL or NEGATIVE feedback for buyers, which inevidently led to them being banned and having their account closed. So why has this changed? Can we get E. Bay to reverse this policy so it is fair for both buyers and sellers?
the option for sellers to leave negative feedback was removed over 12 years ago!!
sellers were holding buyers to ransom and feedback was not showing true,
so ebay removed the option for sellers and introduced non payment strikes instead,
these work really well if sellers do it properly,
when you have a non payer you need to complete a non payment case to get your final value fees refunded and give them a non payment strike
http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/sell/unpaid-items.html
then add the non payers ID to your blocked list
http://offer.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?BidderBlockLogin
then set you bidder requirements to block bidders with two or more non payment strikes in the last 12 months
