I have received negative feedback - yet it is the buyer who misunderstood the listing. He expected something additional with the item, but I did not mention he would get it in my listing, nor was it in the photos.
The buyer has refused to amend the negative feedback & as always, Ebay are as much use an ashtray on a motorbike, favouring the buyer!
Ebay say I should offer the buyer the opportunity to return. But the item was brand new & as it is sporting equipment sold a couple of weeks ago, would now have been used. They said if I don't offer this option, there is nothing they can do.
It all seems grossly unfair - any suggestions?
You say the item was brand new, but your description says Used, and that the shaft is broken, granted never used to hit a ball, but still not brand new as it is damaged.
You could try and call eBay CS again, they do give out different answers, explain clearly the buyer is asking for something that was not offered in the description.
