Hi,
I left neutral feedback for an item where the seller took two weeks to post it (a best offer on a buy-it-now). I chased after the delivery dates had passed and they replied saying a courier had cancelled and that it would go the following Monday, but the parcel wasn't then posted until Friday, five days later. In the mean time I had emailed again to ask for the Hermes tracking number, and received no reply.
I thought neutral feedback was fair - even given the current climate, had they communicated properly the feedback would undoubtedly been positive. There's no substitution for an email, and as a longstanding seller I always keep buyers informed to avoid things like this. However, I was checking my feedback left for another reason and noticed that my neutral was no longer there. How can this happen?!
Thanks 🙂
eBay are currently protecting accounts from defects/feedback due to postal delays...seems to be a blanket protection due to COVID19
