Feedback policy doesn't add up

I can't say that I'm that impressed with Ebay's Feedback system.

Ebay say you earn a reputation on your actions and how well you treat others.

I have always left feedback whether I buy or sell. However over the past year I am surprised at the amount of Ebayers who have bought items yet never leave Feedback, even when they have collected items.

In reality the Feedback profile is flawed. I would suggest that if a buyer doesn't leave feedback Ebay should automatically deduct from the buyer and increase the seller profile. It's no different from saying 'please' and 'thank you'.

Time to have a re-think.

If I was forced to leave feedback for every purchase, many sellers would have lots of Negative or Neutral feedback.

As you probably know, Neutral can be just as damaging for a Seller.

Sometimes, its best just to leave no feedback.

For example, a little time ago, I purchased an item advertised as New but what I received was Used.

I could have gone to the trouble to open a return & Leave Neg feedback but the price was cheap and I decided it was OK.

But I wasn't going to give the Seller Positive feedback, so I left nothing.
