I can't say that I'm that impressed with Ebay's Feedback system.
Ebay say you earn a reputation on your actions and how well you treat others.
I have always left feedback whether I buy or sell. However over the past year I am surprised at the amount of Ebayers who have bought items yet never leave Feedback, even when they have collected items.
In reality the Feedback profile is flawed. I would suggest that if a buyer doesn't leave feedback Ebay should automatically deduct from the buyer and increase the seller profile. It's no different from saying 'please' and 'thank you'.
Time to have a re-think.
As a seller I am not bothered about feedback
In fact I prefer a buyer not to leave it
Ebay take it that no feedback is good feedback
There is less risk of a buyer leaving feedback that could harm your account
Some think a neutral is good feedback and will mark down stars thinking a 4 is good when ebay expect 5's no less.
I always wait until the buyer leaves it and then leave it as I then feel they have their item and are happy with it.
If they dont leave any then neither do I.
It is the item that is being sold and bought and not the feedback
