Feedback against a non-payer

Hi

I had a non-paying bidder. I was able to leave feedback up until the case was closed in my favour.

Why am I now no longer able to leave feedback, to help warn others of the buyers dodgy bidding tactics? He currently has 100% feedback rating - I think its wrong as it's not truly reflective of his transactional experience with me.

Thanks

Leaving feedback is not the way to deal with buyers who do not pay.

Feedback for buyers can only be positive.

Leaving false positive feedback (negative comments on a green dot) as you have done recently, “TIMEWASTER! No payment & No reply to messages. Be Warned!”, is against eBay rules and will damage your account if the buyer reports it to eBay.

The best feedback sellers can leave members who do not pay is no feedback at all.

If an item has not been paid for 48 hours after the listing ended, then you can open an unpaid case here:

http://resolutioncentre.ebay.co.uk/

You have up to 32 days to do this if you wish to allow the buyer longer to pay but 2 days is the earliest.

After opening the case if payment has still not been received after 4 more full days then return to the case & close as unpaid to request a fee credit.

Once a case has been closed you can then relist or make a second chance offer to the underbidder.

When a case has been closed in your favour as the seller, then the buyer receives a damaging unpaid strike against their account & neither of you may leave feedback.

Two strikes in 12 months and the buyer will find their buying activity severely restricted as sellers can block buyers with two strikes in 12 months.

Set your account to block such buyers if you have not already done so.
