Hi,
I bought an exercise bike from abroad, once i assembled it i found the wheels don't spin round properly making it impossible to use. I know it is assembled correctly as i have had one before (but a different make).
I contacted the seller and they told me to send them a video, i tried to upload it to youtube as they suggested which didn't work in the format it was in and they sent a link to 'mybridge' i think - i tried to use that but it didn't work either.
They then offered a £7 refund (the bike was £37.45). This is completely unacceptable as i have recieved a product i can't use. The problem is i can't return it as the postage would cost me more than the product itself.
I can't find any means of help on ebay as it all just leads back to 'return the item'. Surely there must be something else i can do?? i have a exercise bike sat in my flat that doesn't work and i it seems i can't get my money back!
Any advice would be appreciated!
Linda
You do normally have to return the item for a refund. You can try contacting ebay and see if they will offer a "no fault" refund. Use one of the phone options or live chat at the bottom of this:
