Excessive postage

i recently ordered some glue products, the package when it arrived was 15cm square and weighed 700 grams, i was charged £37 postage when the actual cost was £4.50, how do i raise a dispute.

It's hard to help you without knowing all of the facts.

 

In this case, the obvious question has to be why you bid  for an item when the postage was so obviously too high?

 

Have you contacted the seller to query this charge? That would be the obvious thing to do. It could simply be a mistake. Could you have accidentally selected a premium delivery option? Or as I think you're in the Scottish higlands, it may be a courier surcharge.

 

Anyway, assuming that this was the charge stated in the listing you accepted it when you bid. You can't claim any refund through eBay, but you could leave appropriate feedback and detailed seller ratings.

the sellers postage charges are clearly shown on the listing, buyers accept these charges when they buy the item,

 

buyers  can't claim the money back afterwards
