Ebay's uselessness when it comes to bad car sellers

Anyone else been left to fend for themselves when they've bought a misdescribed vehcle via ebay and paypal off a bad seller?

If they know the rules - unfortunately the seller can get the neg removed.

You're on your own with any vehicle purchase whether it's from any online site or in real life.

You're supposed to inspect your vehicle before paying. If there are faults that weren't disclosed in the listing you'll need to take legal advice.

How did you fund that paypal payment? That was a bit daft of the seller to take a PayPal payment. Whilst there's no PayPal Buyer Protection for you, if you funded it with a credit card or debit card featuring a Visa logo there's a slim chance you may be covered by your card provider, so run this by them.
