Ebay better with or without Paypal?

Can anyone explain Ebays new fee and payment system please?. We now don't pay no Paypal Fees which were 2.9% + a fixed Fee of 30p. Ebay now charge 12.8% + a fixed Fee of 30p. Does this mean that we are effectively loosing more money now that Ebay have their "Managed Payments".

It works out very slightly less that before.

Ebay fees were 10% and then the paypal fees

Now you dont pay paypal but ebay take 12.*% +30p in their fees

You are one of many. For managed payments the buyer pays ebay and ebay take off their fees and then pay the remainder into the sellers bank account.It is not instant like paypal. See the link to all the information. Open a not as described dispute at the bottom of the page under Resolution Centre. Escalate it after a full 3 days of opening the dispute. The seller needs to send a pre paid label for the return. If they dont then ebay should when you escalate the dispute. Make sure it goes back tracked and that the tracking is in the dispute.
